Service

Our sisterhood feels that in addition to our philanthropic ambitions it is also necessary to serve the Hoboken community through various efforts. Our sisters can be found volunteering weekly at the soup kitchen in Saint Matthew's Parish or working a dinner shift in the Hoboken Homeless Shelter. We also strive to volunteer for events held on campus that are in need of an extra set of hands. We feel as though our efforts to benefit others will help us to live a morally fulfilling life. As all of us can attest to, an hour at the soup kitchen serving others is a wonderful experience that we are able to enjoy with our sisters. We are also open to volunteering for other organizations on campus; this semester, many of our sisters volunteered at Stevens' annual Take Back the Night hosted by Stevens Shattering the Silence, which is a movement to bring an end to sexual assault and domestic violence.
